2-18-26   THOUGHTS

Life is an “IF/THEN” project.  The preacher here,  lays out a lifetime process that leads to profit... our salvation.  Several actions of high intensity are involved.  Key words are:  receive, treasure, be attentive, incline, cry, lift your voice, seek, search.  These are the words of action and aliveness!  They are words that overcome complacency and apathy.  The RESULTS  words are: discern, discover.  They point to the knowledge and wisdom of God. If the “IF” works, the “THEN”  IS AN AWESOME  BLESSING  FROM GOD!  IT IS ETERNAL IN ITS NATURE.

Prov 2:1-9    My son [daughter], if you will receive my words And treasure my commandments within you,  2  Make your ear attentive to wisdom, Incline your heart to understanding;  3  For if you cry for discernment, Lift your voice for understanding; 4  If you seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures;  5  Then you will discern the fear of the LORD And discover the knowledge of God. 6  For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7  He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, 8  Guarding the paths of justice, And He preserves the way of His godly ones.  9  Then you will discern righteousness and justice And equity and every good course.

Our Prayer:
O Lord, we praise and lift up your Holy name.  The blessing of Jesus excites our eternity and gives power to our living hope.  Help us Lord to pursue with diligence the ways of wisdom and knowledge and love. Give us wisdom, Father.  You wait in heaven to bless us, help us to prove the eternal “IF”.   Preserve our way, O God of all Glory.    In the name of Jesus we pray,    Amen.
